The Teacher Orientation Workshop (TOW) is designed to help you understand and implement new and revised CXC® Syllabuses.   It is used as a strategy to equip you to create effective learning experiences in your subject area.

In this learning experience, we will:

  1. Review the major syllabus components (including changes made to the components, where applicable).

  2. Discuss the approaches to be used to assess student performance (including changes made to assessment approaches previously used).

  3. Explore appropriate strategies and methods for syllabus implementation in the classroom.

  4. Share practices and tools that can be used to support syllabus implementation in the classroom.

  5. Collaborate with others to solve problems related to the implementation of the syllabus.
